Yoho
National Park: The word "Yoho" is a Cree expression
of astonishment or awe. Yoho National Park is renowned for
its spectacular waterfalls, including one of the highest in
Canada, Takakkaw Falls, stunning glacial fed lakes and towering
rock walls. Some other points of interest include the Burgess
Shale fossil exhibit, the railway engineering feat of the
Spiral Tunnels and the beauty and wonder of Lake O'Hara.
Yoho National
Park is a hiker's and cross country skier's paradise. Downhill
skiers are just 20 minutes away from some of the best skiing
in the country at Lake Louise.
